What I Have Learned
Zone Focus- when you focus in on one spot and take the picture when the subject comes in.
Shutter Speed- the shutter speed depends on how your picture will come out to be. Either you set it on high or low. If something is moving fast then you set it on high so the camera will capture the shot and it wont be our of focus and blurry.
Panning- its when u stay in one spot and u just follow the subject and take the picture.
Waiting for the pause- you focus on the subject and take a picture when they have to pause for something. ex(when a soccer player is about to kick the ball they have to pause with their foot and leg before they kick it so thats when you take the picture.)

GLOSSARY
Caption-a small paragraph(2-3 sentences)that tells information about what is happening in the shot and what happened after.
Effects of shutter speed- changing the shutter at high or low can greatly change how the picture comes out in the end b/c it freezes a moving object if its in motion & it makes in look like it was moving at one point w/o the blurriness.
Dominant Photo- the biggest picture in the spread.
Effects of shutter speed- the effects are that if u put a low shutter speed in a fast moving object in will come out to be all blurry, so thats why u need to set in on high.
Eyeline-its the line that is either on top or bottom of an imaginary middle line on a spread so u know where the picture & pica should go.
Panning-its when u stay in one spot and follow the moving object. It should be used in any sport games.
Pica- a one pica space you leave between the picture and the pic. on the bottom, side, or top..you use this on a page like a yearbook spread.

ETHICS IMAGE
I think that a photojournalists should be situational because when u need to change a zit on a face that should be a reason to not have it absolute. A photo cannot capture the truth because when ur at different angles it captures things differently and a picture cannot explain without words. I don't think its right to edit reality, its only right when they are small things like a zit. Its important that news organizations have clearly defined ethical standards because its not right to change reality.
